Vacinação contra Covid em Fortaleza começa quarta (20)

Em reunião do Fórum Nacional de Prefeitos (FNP) nesta quinta-feira (14) com o ministro da Saúde, Eduardo Pazuello, o prefeito de Fortaleza, Sarto Nogueira, confirmou que o início da vacinação contra a Covid-19 em Fortaleza está previsto para a próxima quarta-feira (20).
Segundo Sarto, a Secretaria de Saúde da Capital está com infraestrutura preparada para receber as doses do imunizante – que devem começar a ser distribuídas na segunda (18). A infraestrutura para a aplicação das vacinas foi organizada em parceria com o Governo do Estado.
Na reunião que aconteceu pela manhã e contou com mais de 130 prefeitos, Pazzuelo informou que serão 2 milhões do modelo de Oxford/AstraZeneca e 6 milhões da Coronavac. Estes imunizantes serão entregues no Brasil pela Fiocruz e pelo Instituto Butantan, respectivamente.
Neste domingo (17) a Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) decidirá se libera ou não o uso emergencial destes dois imunizantes. Após este aval, as doses poderão ser aplicadas na população.
